Well researched with copious annotations this is book for historians, writers,\u00a0 political scientists and students of all ages.\u00a0 I learned so much from this book such as<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Pilgims were incredibly stupid\u00a0 and unprepared for their settling of America<\/li>\n<li>American angst over public sex, visual and written owes much to the Puritan influence<\/li>\n<li>Current ideas about political correctness are seriously flawed.<\/li>\n<li>Many Americanisms came from England &#8211;
