The Giants of Sales. Tom Sant. 2006. ISBN 0814472915. What Dale
\nCarnegie, John Patterson, Elmer Wheeler and Joe Girard Can Teach You
\nAbout Real Sales Success.<\/p>\n

This book proves to me that there is nothing new, you just have not read
\nabout it yet! If you are to read just one book on selling ever, this is
\nthe book. It reports on Carnegie, Patterson (started NCR, trained
\nThomas Watson), Wheeler (Sell the Sizzle, not the Steak), Girard
\n(World’s Greatest Salesman). Then Sant goes one better by analyzing
\nthe roots and concepts in the bulk of the selling processes that are
\naround today. (I think he reads more sales books than me!) This allows
\nthe reader to understand the similarities and differences in the various
\napproaches you will run into. An easy almost gripping read, this is a
\nlibrary keeper. Best sales book of the year (so far).<\/p>\n
