Your take on "Riches in Niches" is spot on. Incidentally, I just wanted to add that Susan is passionate about how the newly jobless can benefit from the advice in her book, too. Perhaps new to the idea of entrepreneurial pursuits themselves, they are in a unique position to embrace the notion of self employment and follow her advice to achieve success. What I really liked about Riches in Niches is that many of the strategies could be used by the small business owner who doesn't necessarily have a ton of money in the marketing budget. This is real-life stuff that can be done by anyone who wants to make their business better. As an owner of a small service business, I second your opinion: there’s almost everything in this book that you need to know to market yourself effectively and stand out from the competition.
