Rich Dad - Poor Dad Robert T. Kiyosaki

Rich Dad - Poor Dad Robert T. Kiyosaki. 1998. ISBN 0446677450. I am slowly working my way through Rich Dad Poor Dad, Cashflow Quadrant, Retire Young Retire Rich and Guide to Investing. I will not do regular book reviews on these four, since I consider them more a “point of view” vs. definitive guidebooks, however I am finding his point of view to be useful when I now “counsel” any of my four grown sons . At the very least, it gives you a background in what advice to give to replace just handing them money when they want to finally “grow up” in their investments. I bought my set at bookcloseouts.com. If you are interested, grab the first one out of the library and give it a quick read and see if his ideas suit yours. Also very easy reads. Check out www.richdadbook1.com for an audio sampler. In one way he does explain capitalism.

and listen to the audiotape that is free on the site.
This books sparks lots of debate between friends, parents and spouses. Good read, and he makes too much sense. I have now bought copies for each of my four sons.
